About

A year or two ago, I was curious as to what playgrounds were nearby besides the few I already knew about. I not only wanted a list of playgrounds, but also pictures and descriptions so I could intentionally choose places with different equipment. There are a lot of really neat playgrounds that have been built so I want to visit those and give my kids new experiences to expand their imaginations.

I was using Google and found a number of new places where I could take my kids; however, most of the blogs I have found took me to playgrounds in and around DC, mostly on the Virginia side. Although I am willing to venture out there on more open days, I want to stay mostly inside Prince George's County for quick visits within 30 minutes (preferably less) of my home to have less than an hour of driving time total.

My current goal is to visit all of the Imagination Playgrounds in Prince George's County, but I will also be highlighting other playgrounds my kids and I go to regularly as well as ones we visit outside of the local area.

I hope to build this site as a resource that I've wanted to see out there on the internet.
